DRESS CODE:
Please don't feel you need tuxedos and formal gowns to fit in at this affair. Wear your best idea of "cocktail attire" but remember to be comfortable and free to dance the night away. However you interpret that is great, as long as you bring your "A" game to the party.
Further, it should be noted that we are hosting this party in a conservatory. Climate control is controlled by the actual climate. There will be fans to keep us cool and windows to keep the air circulating but keep this in mind when choosing your attire.
As our music and theatre people will understand: "You're on time if you're 5 minutes early. You're late if you're on time." If you plan to take the shuttle, please be prompt.
There will be 2 final shuttles. One will take you directly back to the Hotel Intercontinental, Magnificent Mile, the other takes your to Rockit Bar and Grill for a few after-hours laughs and final drinks. Dan and Jordan will be on the bus to Rockit.
Chicago is home to many cultural and entertainment showcases. Some of our favorite touristy activities include:
Most of these activities are within short range of the hotel. Cabs are readily accessible and public transportation is easily navigable. The concierge will be happy to arrange any transportation or tickets to these places, if necessary.
Jordan and Daniel both moved to Chicago in 2006 (coincidence!). They have a large selection of local favorites throughout the city, but here are a select few that have the most meaning to them:
If you are new to the city, don't be shy to try some of these or other local favorites. You won't be disappointed.
